Yes, because it opens up the world to them, more exposed, makes children feel in charge 2. What are the benefits of using computer technology in the classroom?you can bring the outside world into the classroom: internet, videos, etc. students are willing to help their peers. 3. What are the drawbacks of using computer technology in the classroom? Lose human contact and personal skills, technical difficulties, don’t know how to use the technology, distractions 4. What are your own personal barriers to using technology in the classroom? Technology is updating fast making it hard to keep up with it. Not understanding it as well 5. What are two goals that you could work toward this semester to overcome those barriers? Practice and play with the technology. Ask for help and questions.
Technology is beneficial in the classroom, as long as you keep up to date with what is current in the industry. Students are more motivated in their work because of the use of technology.
